Hello. I am currently a student at Washington State University and a few months ago I decided to install a parallax rfid reader antenna inside of my door along with an arduino for the main brain, and a parallax servo to turn the door knob from the inside. I can swipe my wallet (containing the rfid tag) on the door from the outside and the reader captures and verifies the tag 10 digit code and turns the servo on the inside to open the door. My question is would you be willing to help me get the hardware and the right source code to use the iDoor app on my ipod touch to send a signal to the arduino to open the servo on the inside of the door? Any information would be greatly appreciated. I know my system isn’t a sophisticated or complex as your system, but I believe I have a good start. Thanks

The app is actually just a special link that triggers the door. It wouldn’t be much use to you I promise! =)

Hey- is the app actually available or did you build it from scratch? If it’s published, is it also on Sprint’s app market? Because I have a Palm Pre that would make my dorm a lot easier to manage…
